Several prominent builders have undertaken large size projects in the area and some of the big corporate names like Colgate, Bayer, etc. have shifted their official base here. More are likely to have their operational facilities here soon. MILL LANDS IN CENTRAL MUMBAI The lands under the possession of defunct textile mills in central Mumbai and which have been allowed to be sold have emerged as the hottest real estate hub in India’s financial capital. Last year, DLF bought 17 acres of land here by doling out Rs. 702 crore and Jupiter Mill in Dadar was sold for Rs. 275 crore. The entire area is being developed as a major commercial hub and some of the big corporate houses are involved in it. BANGALORE The real estate trend in India’s Silicon Valley is only getting robust with each passing year. Areas like Jaya Prakash Nagar and Whitefield have become hot spots where construction activities both in commercial and residential segments are in full swing. HYDERABAD Billed as number two IT hub in India after Bangalore, certain pockets of Hyderabad like Gochibowli, Nanakramguda and Kondapur are witnessing rapid fire real estate development. Many IT/ITES companies have set their base here and the state government is taking special care to ensure that these areas have world class infrastructure.
